Summer Concert Series - 49 Special (Bluegrass)
Join the winery as we celebrate great wine and great music! The Rock Wall Summer Concert Series continues with 49 Special, a bluegrass quartet. Winners of the prestigious Rockygrass band competition in July of 2009 this event is not to be missed.
About 49 special; Danny Booth, Jim Chayka, Alisa Rose, and Tyson Alteri have put together a sound that combines tradition with freshness, and honors the first generation masters while clearly making a statement that they’ve got something to bring to the genre themselves. All the basic ingredients of good bluegrass are there – driving rhythm, soaring fiddling, hot picking, sweet, tight harmonies, and nimble choreography around the single mic. We are ending our concert series with a bang. We have a British Invasion with the Sun Kings vs. The Unauthorized Rolling Stones.
The Sun King Story

The Unauthorized Rolling Stones look like the original, strut like the original and rock like the original! Formed by Rudy Colombini who embodies Mick, he has created a true phenomenon with Dave Garcia as Keith Richards, Mark Banning as Ron Wood and Kenny Crampton as Bill Wyman.
