2007 Rock Wall Zinfandel, Sonoma County

2007 Rock Wall Zinfandel, Sonoma County

PRODUCTION NOTES
The grapes for this wine were picked at the peak of ripeness and given a pre-fermentation cold soak in small 100-gallon fermentors. The must was then warmed to 70°F, inoculated with a special rockpile yeast isolate, and benefited from being punched down 3 times daily.

WINEMAKER NOTES
A delicious example of Sonoma County Zinfandel, this abundantly layered wine is loaded with dark fruit, strawberry jam, orange zest, and notes of black tea.
