2009 Sparkling Mixto

PRODUCTION NOTES
A 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Grenache, this delicious sparkling wine was produced using the traditional méthode Champenoise, however, it was only left on the yeast a short time to facilitate enhancing the wonderful fruit qualities. The Chardonnay for this ‘Mixto’ was aged for a short while after being inoculated with pris de mousse yeast.

WINEMAKER COMMENTS
The Chardonnay is rich with tropical fruits, and in combination with the grenache, the result is a wonderful peach, mango, guava fruit-forward sparkling wine.
